Hi! I am a professional artist & the person behind the multi-award-winning "Egyptian Lenormand" published by Schiffer Books in 2015. I have been creating since I could hold a crayon, though I would not classify that early stuff as "art." I am predominantly self-taught. As a child my parents enrolled me in Art Camp every summer & I was blessed to attend a school at which Art was a regular part of the curriculum. I took Art as an elective from the 7th grade onward & then I had 2 art courses at the college level at my BA alma mater, Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

I received my BA in Anthropology there in 1985.

I am married & we celebrate our 25th anniversary this coming May. I live in Houston with my husband, our 20 year old daughter, & our extremely playful Chartreux cat, Blue.

My current preferred artistic medium is watercolor, but my background is mainly in colored pencil.
