About me, I am a mom to 2 beautiful girls aged 7 and 9. I work full time at an office job, however in the few spare moments that I have, all I want to do is paint. I've been painting with watercolour for about a year and a half now. I've always been a crafter, however my previous loves have been with knitting, crocheting, and needle work. Drawing does not come easy to me and I've struggled A LOT with my art in that front. I love Melanie's approach and have had an 'ah hah' moment realizing that I do not have to paint real life. I can make up my own worlds. I have really enjoyed painting in this style! I'm excited to see where this new journey will lead.
